The aim of Biological Foundations is to preserve what is healthy, identify areas that may need attention, and plan care with long-term wellbeing in mind.
Rather than focusing on isolated problems, we look at your oral health in context. This includes your medical history, lifestyle, priorities, and any concerns you may have.

Biological Foundations Plus
Biological Foundations Plus includes everything in the core consultation, plus additional investigations and extended planning time for complex or long-standing concerns.
Nutritional status testing
Saliva microbiome analysis (charged separately)
CBCT imaging – 3D diagnostic X-rays (charged separately)
Extended planning time for surgical or advanced treatment
Biological Foundations Plus is not required for every patient.
It is only recommended when clinically appropriate, and our team will explain this clearly when you enquire.
Follow-up and planning
Where appropriate, a dedicated follow-up video consultation is included as part of your Biological Foundations appointment.
This allows us to review findings together, discuss options in more detail, and agree next steps at a pace that feels right for you.
