Who this is for

Bone grafting may be relevant for patients who:

  • Are having a tooth removed and wish to reduce bone loss

  • Are planning ceramic implant treatment

  • Have reduced bone volume following previous tooth loss

Bone grafting is not routine. It is recommended only when appropriate after detailed assessment and imaging.

The objective

To support bone stability after tooth removal.

To create a more predictable foundation for future treatment where required.

To support long-term comfort and function.

How bone grafting works

Careful assessment

Imaging and clinical assessment are used to evaluate bone volume and plan the procedure with precision.

Placement of graft material

Graft material acts as a scaffold, supporting the body's natural healing response in the affected area.

Healing over time

Bone develops gradually as part of normal healing. The graft provides structure while the body rebuilds naturally.

What to expect

Bone grafting is planned carefully and explained clearly before any treatment takes place.

  • The procedure is explained clearly before treatment

  • Local anaesthetic is used as standard

  • Healing and aftercare guidance is provided

  • Follow-up is arranged where appropriate

Suitability is always confirmed before use, based on individual clinical need.

Supportive therapies

These are supportive measures, not standalone treatments. They are used selectively alongside primary surgical care.

Ozone therapy

PRF therapy

Nutritional status testing

Microbiome testing
